One benefit of taking 9 months off the blog is that I can use my favorite search terms and find all sorts of new goodies instead of the same pieces getting reposted over and over. It’s refreshing. “Pair” and “chairs” were two of my go-to search terms before, and now they’re yielding these new treasures:

Malachite green chairs:
malachite chairs
Asking: $500 for the pair Reduced to $400 for the pair
Condition: Minor stain on the seat of the one on the right
Dimensions: Not provided
Location: Annapolis, MD
Thoughts: I keep going back and forth on these. Yeah, they’re way ’80s, but malachite is making a big comeback, so I think they they would read very cool and modern in the right space. (Regardless, though, I think they’re overpriced.)

High-back Neoclassic chairs:

Asking: $75 for the pair
Condition: Sturdy, no rips/stains/tears

Thoughts: Maybe you get lucky and these already match your style, but if not, they’re fun reupholstery candidates.

White metal mesh chairs:
white metal mesh chairs
Asking: $160 each or $300 for the pair
Condition: Not described
Dimensions: Not provided
Location: Columbia Heights
Thoughts: All I can think about is the mesh pattern you’d have on your thighs if you sat in these while wearing shorts, but if that doesn’t bother you (or you don’t wear shorts), these are a cool design.
