Pair of Drexel nightstands:

Asking: $120
Condition: “Beautiful.”
Dimensions: 24 1/2″ W x 24 1/2″ T x 18″ D

Thoughts: The orange background is reflecting on them in the photo, and that was throwing me at first, but I think in a non-orange, eclectic bedroom these would look cool and not dated.

Pair of side tables with spooled legs:

Asking: $150
Condition: “Very good.”

Pair of MCM upholstered benches:
pair of MCM bench stools
Asking: $260
Condition: “Benches in good to very good vintage condition. A few light stains, but they are not too noticeable unless looking closely.”
Dimensions: 23″ W x19″ D x 19″ H
Location: Catonsville, MD
Thoughts: I’m not crazy about the fabric (it looks a little dated to me), and the price is high if you were going to reupholster them, but the shape is great. And the seller is right, these are very versatile.

My bedroom has a little nook between two closets.  It’s the best spot for my bed, and I really like the whole setup–except that there’s no space bedside tables.  Thus I always have a random assort of things on the floor next to me: a book, a water bottle, my cell phone, etc.  It’s less than ideal, but it’s really the only option right now.  Someday I’ll be a real grown-up with a nightstand, but until then, these CL finds are all for you:

Coral nightstand:

Black floral nightstand:

If you like the classic look of a red and white bedroom like this:

Or this:

You can recreate the B&B charm with this beautiful, brand new handmade Hawaiian king-size quilt ($495):

(There’s a similar queen-size version in green and white, if you prefer.)

And this French shabby chic king-size headboard–that needs a little TLC ($380 Update: No longer listed.):

And some white wicker furniture ($180 for the set Update: No longer listed.):

(Set includes one dresser, one chest for the foot of your bed and two coordinating nightstands.)

And maybe a couple of lamps with red shades ($35 for the pair):

Pair of Union Jack twin beds:

Asking: $600 for the pair (High, but possibly worth the splurge. You could try to get them for less, though, since the woman painted them herself and probably didn’t pay much for them originally.)
Condition: Just dandy!
Dimensions: Not provided, but they’re twin beds…
Location: Derwood, MD
Thoughts: I am more than a little obsessed with rooms featuring a pair of twin beds. (Evidence.) I’m also normal amounts obsessed with the Union Jack. (Evidence.) Combine the two and kinda going crazy over here.

Pair of sconces:

Asking: $15 for two, or $20 for three (Sounds good to me.)
Condition: They look fine.
Dimensions: Not provided
Location: Manassas, VA
Thoughts: The classic style will go well with the bedframes. Rooms with twin beds obviously lend themselves to symmetry, and I think each guest should have his/her own reading lamp.

Nightstand:

Asking: $78 (I’d offer $50.)
Condition: Not sure. It’s solid cherry and looks fine in the pic, but the poster specifically says she’s selling it “as is.”
Dimensions: Not provided
Location: Alexandria/Kingstowne, VA
Thoughts: I prefer twin beds to share a nightstand in the middle. This is a classic style that would complement the bedframes. I’m not crazy about it, but the beds are the show-stoppers, so it’s okay for this piece to play second fiddle, far as I’m concerned.

Check it out.
